Walking Closer With God

What is it like to be (or have) a close friend?
What’s the difference between Knowing someone (info about them) and Knowing them (personally)?

  1. Walk with Him
    1. Genesis 5:24 – Enoch walked with God, he put Him first
    2. Hebrews 11:5 – it was pleasing to God
  2. Put God First

Basic Training: The Word

Over the coming weeks we’re going to be going through Boot Camp together. We’re going to get back to the basics of God’s Word and what it means to be a follower for Christ.

An important part of having Faith is trusting in the Word of God. In fact, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). How do we know that God’s Word (the Bible) is trustworthy? What does it mean to give someone your “word?”
