God Doesn't Make Junk

God doesn’t make junk!

We see a lot of images on tv and in magazines that scream at us telling us how we should look, act and feel. Even friends at school can make you feel like you’re not good enough or “cool” enough.

Stop listening to those voices, the ones that are going against God’s truth.

Genesis 1:25-26 and 1:31 - we are made in God’s image. He calls us a good work.

Ephesians 2:10 – Workmanship (to make)
Word Wealth (Spirit Filled Life Bible)

Philippians 1:6 - God has begun a good work in us

God continues to mold us into the image of His Son correcting us when we miss it.
Proverbs 3:12 and Hebrews 12:5-7, 11

God has place in us our:

  1. Character
  2. Talents
  3. Skills

Jesus didn’t die for junk but for the masterpieces of God. That would be you!

God has a purpose for you. We are His ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20) for Christ.

After message dismiss leaders to gather small groups for short time of prayer.
(in prayer time we emphasize God’s love for each of us as well as reinforcing the fact that God has made us good)

During time of prayer play “You Do All Things Well” by Chris Tomlin
